FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Springfield, MO and I'm happy to take on mentees outside of my area. This would involve a phone call meeting or FaceTime instead of in-person meetings.
At this time, I will not be traveling for mentorships.
What does it mean to shadow a wedding?
Shadowing a wedding is a great opportunity to see up close how a wedding photographer operates and runs their day. You'll stick by my side and learn posing, composition, how to shoot in various lighting scenarios, and get to take your own images for your portfolio.
When do we have our meetings?
Whenever we're both available! We'll hop on a call and set up all our meetings for the year, pick out wedding shadow dates, and schedule our branding session.
Can I do a payment plan?
You bet! I'll take a 20% deposit at booking and then the rest will be set to a bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly payment plan. We'll discuss which days are best for you.
How long does the mentorship last?
If you do my Pro plan, this can take course over a year, or we can do all our meetings during slow season. Most of my shadow opportunities will take place between April-November.
